{ The dawn of the Teywendr people.}
In the beginning there was but one kind of human, disgraceful as they were, those who worshiped the mythic species as deities and those with powers.
It was in these dark times that the prophet Isan had a vision while alone in his tent, he dreamed of a large white eagle with 4 wings who was said to have red, glowing eyes like jewels. The eagle spoke in a deep rumbling voice and warned Isan of a terrible plague which would kill his village.
Knowing a few of the members of his village had already succumbed to a mysterious illness, when Isan awoke he immediately told his tribe of the impending dangers, although most scoffed or laughed at his vision, some went to pray to the mythics for help.
Some, the smartest, listened to him. They traveled to a land to the north west and created Teywendr by their own hand. Word eventually reached them that their original tribe had died out.
They lived this way for two winters, under Isan and his predictions from the mighty eagle god Jorwen, until those from the old ways came to contact the developing kingdom of Teywendr to encourage them to join in the old ways a second time.
This was a ridiculous notion of course, the harder the tribes people pressed these ideas the harder the people of Teywendr fought to prove their loyalty to Jorwen.
Evenutally, fights broke out, vicious ones that lasted many years, the people of Teywendr created a huge castle and fortified walls to drive away those who opposed them, and Isan spoke the word of Jorwen, that none of the Teywendr people should become like the disgusting, feral humans ever again.
They cut themselves off from the world of the mythics, became distrustful of all outsiders and safe in the knowledge that soon, their mighty town would spread and become an unstoppable force.
